Visiting Study Programs

If you are enrolled at a recognized foreign higher education institution (BA/undergraduate, MA/graduate, PhD/postgraduate) with no exchange agreement with UZH, you can study at UZH as a visiting student.

If you want to take courses for credit at UZH for one or at most two semesters, you find here further information for regular visiting students.

If you plan to pursue a project (research, write a thesis etc.) at UZH for at least two and at most twelve months, you find here further information for invited visiting students.

Traineeships at UZH for Students

Traineeships are a unique opportunity to get to know UZH and gain valuable research experience at the same time. The Swiss-European Mobility Programme (SEMP) offers financial support for these types of traineeships when you are  enrolled at a university in a European country other than Switzerland (Erasmus+ programme countries) during your traineeship
